A brief guide to the updated IASC website

Published Date

The updated IASC website is organised to reflect the structures of the IASC and the priorities they are working towards. While the new structure will hopefully make it easier to find what you're looking for, this is a short guide to help you get to the right place. On the front page, you'll find the latest updates from across the structures, as well as links to each of the IASC priority areas. Use the following links to help you choose the correct menu item to navigate the rest of the site:

I'd like to learn more about the IASC or one of its structures.

The first of the three tabs at the top of the page, About the IASC, provides an introduction to the Inter-Agency Standing Committee and the inter-agency structures that support it in making and implementing decisions. Each body has its own page, which you can find in the menu within the About the IASC page. The next tab at the top of the page, Tools and Services, provides an insight into some of the policy and bodies created as a result of IASC decisions. Head to About the IASC.

I'm looking for practical information and tools to use.

The middle tab at the top of the page, Tools and Services, provides links to some of the key documents, bodies, and partners of the IASC. Here, you'll guidance you can put to use, as well as information about other initiatives of the IASC. If you can't find what you're looking for here, try the Library tab, to browse the wealth of guidance and tools produced by the IASC and its subsidiary bodies over the years. Head to Tools and Services.

I know exactly which document or meeting I am looking for.

The farthest right tab at the top of the page, Library, provides links to different ways to browse and filter the repository of IASC endorsed-documents and all of the working documents and meetings that go into their development. Head to Library.

I still can't find what I'm looking for.

If neither of the three tabs at the top of the page get you to the right place, try the site Search at the top of the page. You might need to try a few different terms to get the best results. If even then you can't find what you're looking for, please contact the IASC secretariat.

Feedback on the site.

While it's been many months building up to this point, the launch is only the beginning and we welcome your feedback on how we can make the site more useful to you. Please do send us an email with any comments that you have.
