The IASC secretariat
The IASC secretariat’s primary purpose is to support the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) by ensuring that IASC decisions are acted upon and implementation is on track. Don't hesitate to get in touch with any of us, and we'll endeavor to get you to the right place. You can find the locations of the IASC secretariat New York and Geneva offices here, however please note that they are not accessible to the public except by arrangement.

Each IASC member agency appoints a focal point to coordinate ongoing activities at the IASC and its Operational Policy and Advocacy Group and other subsidiary bodies, as well as their respective agencies' follow up to IASC decisions and developments. If you work for an IASC Member Agency, your focal point will be your person to go to for updates from the IASC and how your agency is engaging.

Technical experts from the IASC members come together in Results Groups to tackle policy challenges under the IASC Strategic Priorities. You can get in touch with the co-Chairs for specific questions about their Results-Group or your agency Focal Point to learn how your organisation is contributing. Submit a general enquiry to the IASC secretariat to request contact details.
