IASC PSEAH Championship Advisory Group, Consultation Synopsis Report

In 2024, WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain took up the role of IASC PSEAH Champion. One of the strategic priorities she set for her Championship is advancing the operationalization of a Victim/ Survivor-Centered approach in line with IASC Definition & Principles of a Victim/Survivor-Centered Approach. A key initiative has been the establishment of a global 1 protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) Advisory Group consisting of women-led NGOs and civil society organizations (CSOs) from countries identified as high-risk for sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), as prioritized by the IASC SEA Risk Overview Index. The Advisory Group will strengthen a victim-centered approach, tailored to local contexts.
