Dr. Nadim Mahmud, Medical Director of FrontlineSMS, gives a demonstration on how the spread of mobile phones have made it possible, for the very first time, for health services to be provided in remote and rural area’s.
12.30 – 13.00 The Humanitarian Situation in Darfur
Mr. Toby Lanzer, former Deputy Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Northern Sudan shares his experience and insights on the situation in Darfur.
