Christelle Loupforest, Head of the IASC/ECHA Secretariat, will facilitate a question and answer session.
Background:
Leadership for Humanitarians is an initiative lead by humanitarians for humanitarians, with the mandate of developing excellent leaders and improving performance in or off the field. “Closing the Leadership Gap” is a “deep dive” leadership session, which explores the key concepts of self-leadership and group leadership. It also explores the costs of poor leadership; which elements form strong leaders; the competencies and character attributes key for humanitarian leaders; and looks at 4 key leadership issues for humanitarians: building a vision, unleashing the full potential of staff (from a leadership perspective, not managerial) building trust and execution of goals.
