The next IASC NY weekly meeting will take place this Friday, 8 October, 11:30-12:30 pm, in OCHA's Conference Room 1. This week, Mr. Oliver Lacey-Hall, Chief of Communication and Information Services will show how he organized the highly successful World Humanitarian Day 2010.
And, as I am sure you all noticed when half the city was blocked off, we have just had our 65th General Assembly. More than a 140 Heads of State and Foreign Ministers were in New York to address issues of mutual and global concern. Ms. Natasha Kindergan, Head of the Intergovernmental Relations Team, will discuss the outcomes of the event
