Future of the Grand Bargain - Findings of the survey - October 2022

Published Date

survey1The purpose of the survey was to measure the interest of the Signatories to continue their engagement and invest their internal resources in case of the continuation of the process. This exercise also provided quantitative data on the key elements of the Grand Bargain structure that bring most added value in achieving efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian aid.

We are pleased to share with you a summary of the main findings, which will serve as a starting point to inspire the conversations at constituency level, taking place in the coming weeks. Some of the main findings include:

  • All constituencies are in favour of continuing the process, but with changes to and simplification of the structure.
  • There is a continued commitment to participate in the Grand Bargain, yet the readiness to invest financial resources on implementation remains unclear.

These and other issues detailed in the summary will be discussed in the forthcoming Signatory constituency-level consultations.
