Islamic Relief is very pleased to be joining the Grand Bargain 2.0 as a Signatory. Since our inception in 1984, Islamic Relief has built a strong reputation for working in some of the world’s most challenging and hard-to-reach areas, which has enabled us to establish and maintain relationship with a wide range of local actors.” As a Grand Bargain Signatory, the Islamic Relief look forward to contributing their significant expertise, analysis and operational knowledge on the localisation agenda with other agencies. They are committed to implementing flexible, contextually sensitive partnering models and providing capacity strengthening and support services to local humanitarian responders which are often the first to respond to crises, remaining in the communities they serve before, after and during emergencies.
