Final Summary Record, OPAG Session V, 18 June 2020

The Operational Policy and Advocacy Group (OPAG) of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) held the fifth session of its third regular meeting on 18 June 2020. The primary objectives of this session was to (i) discuss how the humanitarian system can respond to rising protection challenges as a result of COVID-19 with a view to ensuring a more coherent response to address people’s survival and protection as well as to better engage in an integrated response beyond public health measures; and (ii) discuss progress made by the Results Group 1 on Operational Response on the OPAG-agreed 2020 workplan and its reprioritization as a results of COVID-19.
