What is a "Section"?

A section is used to group types of content together. On the IASC website, sections are used for: Meetings, Documents, and News in each of the Spaces. This content is further subdivided according to the access groups: Public, Donor, and IASC.

Choosing Display Items

You may change what is displayed on each of the section "home pages".

  1. Click on the button labelled "customise this page" in the top right of the screen.
  2. Locate the pane you want to modify and apply your changes. You may also choose to add a new item by clicking on the + symbol in any of the regions for the page you are editing. A modal (pop-up) window will open for you to configure your changes to the pane you are editing.
  3. Click "save" at the top of the page to lock in your changes.

WARNING: The "revert" option changes the layout back to its template, NOT what you had previously saved. It is not recommended you add or remove items without first making these changes in a test environment to ensure it's what you meant to do.

Templates

Each of the section "home pages" uses a template which can be customized. This template can be reviewed by content administrators.
