 FUTURE OF HUMANITARIAN FINANCING Mr Brian Lander, WFP, facilitated this session and stressed that the Working Group had an opportunity to discuss what could be recommended to the High-Level Panel established by the UN Secretary-General to explore ways to address the humanitarian funding gap.

The World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) regional consultation for the Middle Eastand North Africa (MENA) was held at the Dead Sea, Jordan, from 3-5 March 2015. Itwas hosted by the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and co-chairedby the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the UNOffice for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
