The evaluation was commissioned and funded by the Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation Steering Group (IAHE SG), an associated body of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC). The KonTerra Group and Itad Ltd. were contracted to conduct the evaluation.

Sixteen NGOs, fifteen of which are Grand Bargain Signatories, signed a Joint Statement, in which they welcome and support the outcomes and recommendations of the recent Grand Bargain Cash Coordination Caucus endorsing a model for the accountable, predictable, effective, and efficient coordination of cash assistance.

This statement affirms the commitment of the IASC to ensure that Accountability to Affected People (AAP) is central to principled humanitarian action. It also pledges to support Humanitarian Coordinators (HCs), Humanitarian Country Teams (HCTs), clusters and individual agencies to prioritize the implementation of this commitment in all humanitarian operations.
