Background:
The Global Cluster Coordination Group (GCCG) was established as a coordinating body chaired by OCHA, following the Humanitarian Reform and rollout of the cluster approach in 2005. Since the reform of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) in January 2019, it has been designated as an Entity Associated with the IASC.
This document presents the priority areas of work for the newly established Task Forces (covering the 2022-2023 biennium) as informed by the IASC Principals endorsed strategic priorities and as approved by the Operational Policy and Advocacy Group (OPAG). Leaving no one behind (including women and girls, persons with disability, elderly) is central to humanitarian action and will be prioritized in all aspects of the IASC’s work. Please refer to the Task Force terms of reference for further information regarding the functioning of the groups.
This document provides an overview of a model for cash coordination which was the outcome of the Grand Bargain cash coordination caucus and was proposed to the ERC/IASC for adoption. The IASC Principals endorsed the model in March 2022.

UNCHR produced a report to outline its engagement and progress made in the Grand Bargain since 2016. In the five years since the Grand Bargain was launched to improve aid effectiveness and efficiency of humanitarian response, UNHCR has increased funding and support for national and local responders, simplified reporting requirements, and successfully partnered with deve
